He was predeceased by: his parents, Anton Walisser (Tony) and Eleanor Walisser; and his brother Edwin. He is survived by: his wife Ann Luiken; his daughters, Karen Munjak (David), Gayle Walton (Thane) and Shirlene Hanson; his grandchildren, Kye, Hunter Walton, Catherine, Elizabeth Munjak, Magdalen and Katrina Hanson; and his siblings, Don Walisser (Pearl), Leon Walisser (Lyn), Bernadette Enders (Cliff) and Jeffrey Walisser. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, January 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Good Shepherd Catholic Church (18407 60 Ave NW, Edmonton, AB T6M1X7). A reception was held on Saturday, January 10th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. James the Major Roman Catholic Church in Manning, Alberta.
