With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Alsey Rock (Edmonton, Alberta), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Alsey left this world on November 30, 2024 at the age of 97, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Wispinski and Helen Wispinski (Woytowich); her husband Richard "Dick"; and her siblings, John Wispinski (Helen), George Wispinski (Mary), Alex Wilkinson (Audrey), Mary Mnoholitny (Nick), Metro "Pab" Wispinski and Olga Gilmar (Arnold).
She is survived by: her daughters, Wendy Norbom (Gary) and Shari Melnychuk (Tony); her grandchildren, Kristin, Kevin Hiller and Mary Kamisha Norbom (Tensae); and her sister-in-law Sylvia Wispinski. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Jubilee Lodge, where Alice resided since the COVID outbreak.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation to Furget Me Not Animal Rescue for Cats or to the Wellspring Cancer Support Center, in Alice's name.
