We bid farewell to Amélia Alexandre (Luzia) Fernandes (Edmonton, Alberta), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 6, 2024 at the age of 87. Amélia Alexandre touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by : her sons, Luís and Jose; and her siblings, Piedad, Antionio, Albertina, Eduardo and João.
She is survived by : her children, Terrie (Gord), Connie, Julio and Antonio (Donna); her grandchildren, Sean (Kyra), Alexandra and Kendall; and her great grandchild Hudson. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Amélia's honor may be made directly to the Alzheimer's Society of Edmonton.
