She was predeceased by: her husband Paul Kotyk; her parents, Wasyl Gargas and Kataryna Gargas; her siblings, Michael, Bill, John, Joe Gargas and Rose Gargas; and her siblings-in-law, Olga, Nancy Gargas and Walter Polny.

She is survived by: her children, Dolores Kotyk, Gary Kotyk (Kimberly) of Edmonton and Randy Kotyk of Edmonton; her sister-in-law Audrey Gargas; and her brother Peter Kotyk. She is also survived by Five grandchildren, and 5 great-grand children.
