She was predeceased by: her son Franco Bernardo; and her parents, Vincenzo Cicco and Tommasina Cicco. She is survived by: her husband Antonio Bernardo; her children, Vittorio, Carmela (Ben) and Dino (Amber); her grandson Nathaniel; and her siblings, Felice Cicco (Rosetta), Luigi Cicco (Victoria), Caterina Colosimo (Giuseppe) and Pierino Cicco. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

In lieu of other tributes, donations may be made to Muscular Dystrophy Canada or the Stollery Children's Hospital Foundation.
