He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Dulce; his children, Vitor Azevedo (Memory) and Claudia Barata (Nelson); his grandchildren, Anaya, Cruz and Rafael; his siblings, Acacio Azevedo (Janet), Ester, Conceição Moniz (José), Maria and Amparo Moura (Tozé); his brothers-in-law, Fernando Pinto (Lucia) and Diamantino Pinto (Lurdes); and his parents, Aurelio Azevedo and Ana Marcos. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
