He was predeceased by: his wife Maria Natalia Ramalhete; his parents, Antonio C. Ramalhete and Maria R. Fernandes; and his siblings, Joao Cordeiro, Rosa, Deolinda and Idalina.
He is survived by: his son Antonio; and his siblings, Manuel Cordeiro and Fatima Soares. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family.
