He was predeceased by: his father Day. He is survived by: his wife Joanne; his daughters, Kim Friesen (Paul) and Christy Verveer (Hendrik); and his grandchildren, Jeremy Friesen (Maren), Kendra Moffat (Jake), Ethan Verveer, Marijke Verveer and Lucas Friesen.
