He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Tanner and Pauline Tanner; and his siblings, Frederick, Roderick, Patricia, Joyce and Mary-Louise.
He is survived by: his former spouse Merete Carstensen; his children, Stephen (Marlena), Karen and Patrick; his grandchildren, Amadea, Axel, Alixx and Max; and his siblings, Gerald, Keville (Andre) and Pauline. He is also survived by his grandchildren and friends.
Arthur Richard (Dick) Tanner Richard passed peacefully at the Edmonton General Hospital, Alberta, on December 18, 2019 at the age of 86 after courageously living for many years with Alzheimer's disease.
