She is survived by: her children, Denise (William Keenan), Antonella (Tony McIsaac) and Marco (Rosanna Martino); her grandchildren, Michelle, Jessica (Asim), Eric (Caitlin) and Bella; her great grandchildren, Avery and Maksim; her sisters, Wanda (Guglielmo Mazzuca), Adele, Vincenza (Vincenzo Lipari), Laura (Salvatore Romano) and Marcella (Robert Gemellaro); her nephews, Ignazio Marino (Gloria) of Italy and JohnMarino of Edmonton; and her niece Carmela Marino.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Assunta's honour may be made directly to a charity of one's choice.
