She is survived by: her husband Dennis; her daughters, Wendy Macrae (Ken), Brenda Krywiak (Ed) and Karen Lyseng (Kurt); her grandchildren, Jason Krywiak (Christina), Janelle Davis (Madison), Lori Bonney (Brandon), Ashley Tanner (Wesley), Jeffrey Lyseng (Cristal), Adam Macrae (Nikki) and Steven Lyseng; and her great grandchildren, Ellie, Beckham Davis, Kendra, Callie Tanner, Ryleigh and Zackary Macrae.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Joan's memory may be made to The Cross Cancer Society or The Stollery Children's Hospital.
