Barbara Lebel Obituary
On Sunday, March 20, Barbara passed away peacefully with her sons by her side after a 10 month battle with cancer at the age of 74 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her friend, Roger Lebel Sr.; children, Wade Lebel, Roger Lebel Jr., Rudy Willier, and Cindy Podritske; grandchildren, Avery Culver-Lebel and Amelia Lebel; mother, Dorothy Kleen; siblings, Pauline Oliver, Allan (Irma) Willier, Brian (Rose) Willier, Stephanie Green, Jackie (Matt) Jamael, and Wanita Willier; as well as many nieces and nephews. Barbara was predeceased by her siblings, Clayton "Lucky", Melvin, Stevie, Edward "Bunkie", and Mary "Chippup".
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, April 4, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Evergreen Funeral Home, 16204 Fort Road, Edmonton, with her viewing prior to service. Donations may be made to the Cross Cancer Institute.
The family wishes to extend their thanks for the compassionate care from the doctors at the Grey Nuns Hospital Palliative Care Unit and Cross Cancer Institute, as well as the home care nurses.
