Barry Slipp Obituary

We announce the death of Barry Slipp (Edmonton, Alberta), who passed away on June 9, 2026, at the age of 79. Barry will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George and Kaye; his brothers, Scott (Sharon) and Marke (Cate); his daughter-in-law Athena; and his pet Lav.

He is survived by: his wife Valerie; his children, Brett, Nikki and Jaret (Lou); his grandchildren, Ibiza, Fiona and Celesté; his brothers, Steven (Wendy) and Paul (Michelle); and his goddaughter Patricia. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Barry's memory may be made to the Stollery Children's Hospital Foundation.
