He was predeceased by: his parents, Bedrich Sr. Matejicek and Anna Matejicek; and his brother Josef. He is survived by: his wife Eugenia; his children, Robert Matejicek (Hayley) and Anita Marghella (Jason); his grandchildren, Dominic, Malayna, Mila and Ella; and his brothers, Jiri and Vlasta. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
A funeral service was held on Friday, January 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Catholic Church (11485 106 St, Edmonton, AB T5G2P8).
