Bert Frank Schooler Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Bert Frank Schooler (Edmonton, Alberta), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 10, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Aldean, Viola, Grant, Sidney and Ken; and his brother-in-law Bernie.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy; his daughter Sharon (Ric); his granddaughter Hannah (Nate); his sisters, Shirley, Ruth and Barbara; and his sisters-in-law, Shirley and Sherrill. He is also survived by nieces and nephews; cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Serenity North Central Chapel (10129 Princess Elizabeth Ave NW, Edmonton, AB T5G0X9).
Bert generously supported numerous charities, including The Salvation Army, KSPS PBS, Hope Mission, The Mustard Seed, Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada, and the Canadian Cancer Society. Donations may be made in his memory in lieu of flowers.
