Brian Edward Cote Obituary
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Brian Edward Cote on November 15, 2025 at the age of 59.
Brian will be forever missed by his daughter, Jacqueline Smith; grandchildren, Victorie, Ethan and Aurora; brother, Grant Cote (Donna); step-mother, Simone Cote (nee Bourassa); step-brother, Jimmy Bourassa (Amanda) as well as a niece, Jessica Day (Will); nephew, Levi Cote; great-nieces; great-nephews, numerous cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.
He was predeceased by his mother, Delores; father, Norman, and his partner Carrie.
Brian was born in Lac La Biche on April 5, 1966 and spent several years living and working in various parts of Alberta before calling Edmonton home. He was a highly skilled mechanic and body man with an enviable ability to strip a vehicle down to its frame, straighten it, and reassemble it. Brian's life was not without its struggles, but he will be loved and remembered for his mischievous smile, kind heart, boisterous laugh and his willingness to help others.
A Celebration of life will be arranged in the spring in Plamondon, Alberta.
