He was predeceased by : his parents, Anna Brown and Allan Brown; his siblings, Margaret McCartney (Gordon) and George Brown (Mary); and his brother-in-law Douglas Dewald.

He is survived by : his sister Doreen; his nieces, Margaret (Gary), Carolyn (Rick), Debra (Gary), Jo-Ann, Shannon (Murray) and Colleen (Tim); and his cousin Lesley.

Visitation was held on Thursday, May 16th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Connelly-McKinley St. Albert (9 Muir Drive Corner of St. Vital Avenue & Highway 2, St. Albert, AB T8N 1G1). A graveside service was held on Thursday, May 16th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Goshen Cemetery (Corner of Township Rd 552 & Range Road 263, Sturgeon County, AB T0G 1Y0).

In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made to Hope Mission (https://hopemission.com), or a charity of one's choosing in Bruce's honour.
