He was predeceased by: his parents, Irene Shemko and Sam Shemko. He is survived by: his children, Breanne and Dustin Shemko (Lisa Shemko); and his siblings, Grant Shemko, Gayle Fjeld (Wayne) and Wendy Galick (Nick). He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in Bruce's memory.
