He is survived by: his wife Rosa; his children, Danny Tavares and Melissa Tavares; his grandchildren, Jacob, Kobi, Damon, Audrina and Sergio; and his siblings, Ana, Sandra, Nelia, Lucia and Jose. He is also survived by many other extended family and friends.
