Carol Schlender Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carol Schlender (Edmonton, Alberta), who passed away on September 30, 2024 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Carol's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May Carol's journey be filled with peace and serenity, and may she find rest in the embrace of eternity.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Scharr and Frances Scharr. She is survived by: her husband Fred; her sons, Dennis (Carol), Todd (Krista) and Robert (Kelly); and her siblings, Shirley Maniec (Michael) of Victoria, BC, Doreen Sayer of Parksville, BC and Walter Scharr (Linda) of Millet, AB. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
