With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Catherine Yuen Fong (Edmonton, Alberta), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 9, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Catherine farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Catherine is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She is survived by: her husband Jerry; her children, Jaime and Jason; her children-in-law, Hieu and Julia; and her grandchildren, Amelia, Archer, Anson, Anders, Arya and Evan.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada (https://www.heartandstroke.ca) would be appreciated, a cause close to Catherine's heart.
