She was predeceased by: her parents, Mike Sutherland and Alice Sutherland; and her sister Mary. She is survived by: her husband Stew; her daughters, Tracy and Lori (Keith); her grandchildren, Jenna, Lily, Adam and Charlotte; her siblings, Wanda (Claude) and Sandy (Claire); and her brother-in-law Art.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family's preference of the Canadian Diabetes Society, the Edmonton Epilepsy Association or a charity of one's choice.
