In lieu of flowers donations may be directed towards the Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of one's choice.

“Cousin Charles and I were close . I was the only boy in the family and swamped with sisters and so Charles became my brother more or less . I remember walking from our village , The Slek , to the boys school in the Pey with Charles and cousin Sjaak Bakker . We were in grade one . That would be in 1949 , in the province of Limburg , the Netherlands . Charles and I shared a double desk in Miss Vossen's class. We always stayed in touch...to the bitter end . I have lost a brother . Gerard Jennissen”
