With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Clara Alvina Thompson (Edmonton, Alberta), who passed away on October 15, 2025 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Tom; her children, Ferdinand, Thomas and Carol; her son-in-law Norm; her sister Caroline; and her grandson Larry.

She is survived by: her daughters, Lavinia (Mark) and Sherri (Larry); her daughters-in-law, Christine and Lorraine; and her siblings, Fred (Betty), Ronald (Debbie), Joyce and Marion. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the New Sweden Mission Church.
