She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence McAlister and Winnifred McAlister; her former husband Lou Uhrig; and her sister Ruth Stellmacher (John). She is survived by: her husband Bert Ball; her daughters, Colleen Ursulan (Gary), Kathy Bleau and Lorraine Tuson (Rick); her brother Lorne McAlister (Ellen); and her stepchildren, Kim Jones (Barry), Derek Ball (Lesley) and Mike Ball (Taryn). She is also survived by eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and five step-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Serenity Funeral Service (5311 91 St NW, Edmonton, AB T6E6E2). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Hope City Church (2225 66 St NW, Edmonton, AB T6K4E6).
