She was predeceased by: her parents, Joy Rauckman and John Rauckman; and her brother Jack Rauckman. She is survived by: her siblings, Leslie, Wayne and Bill; her husband David Hiatt (Dave); and her children, Jaymie Davey (Drew), Kimberley Roberts (Leon) and Anthony Hiatt (Lacey). She is also survived by eight grandchildren as well as many dear relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Colleen's memory to Cross Cancer Institute – Cancer Care Alberta in Edmonton, Alberta.
