Courtney Schmalz Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Courtney Schmalz (Edmonton, Alberta), who passed away on November 9, 2025, at the age of 29, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by: her husband Blake Schmalz; her son Tommy Schmalz; her parents, Derek Jones and Cheryl Jones; her sister Morgan Jones (Ryan); her in-laws, Homer Schmalz and Steph Towton (John); her sister-in-law Shelby Chamney (Davin); her nieces and nephews, Jaxson, Cali and Lilah; and her pets, Annie, Athena and Oliver. She is also survived by aunts; uncles; cousins.

In lieu of flowers the family welcomes donations for those wishing to show their support to Tommy and Blake.
