She was predeceased by: her husband Peter; her parents, Stanley Jacques and Marjorie Jacques; and her grandson Steven. She is survived by: her children, Barbara (Stan), Norma, Ian (Christy) and Vanessa; her grandchildren, Caroline, Christine, Karys, Hannah, Jordan, Kaiti, Abigail and Chase; and her brother Rodney Jacques (Anne). She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
It should come as no surprise that Cynthia had specific wishes that "flowers are lovely but instead, if friends so desire, please donate to your local chapter of the Alzheimer's Association and help us end Alzheimer's.".
