He was predeceased by: his sister Derryl Burmester (Holger); and his parents, Harold and Violet. He is survived by: his wife Sheila Bella; his son Michael Tate (Jade) of Edmonton; his grandson Jackson; and his sisters, Sheila Workman (Ron) and Debbie Bain (Ron).
