It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of David Dmytryshyn (Edmonton, Alberta), who passed away on January 30, 2026, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of David Dmytryshyn to show support.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Nick Dmytryshyn and Eva Dmytryshyn; and his parents-in-law, Helen Alexiuk and Ray Alexiuk. He is survived by: his wife Leslie; his son Dan Dmytryshyn; his daughter-in-law Jackie Behles of Houston, Texas; his siblings, Jerry (Myrna) of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Darlene Danilyw (Bohdan) of Saskatoon and Chris Kamins (Fred) of St. Albert, Alberta; and his pet Bailey Marie.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the University of Alberta Hospital's Mazankowski Alberta Heart Institute (https://givetouhf.ca) through the University Hospital Foundation.

Lots of small plane rides and hotels breakfasts. Dave had the gift of gab … family, work history and the Oilers.
