He was predeceased by: his mother Wendy Thomson (Weyman); his sister Beth Mischuk (Thomson); and his parents-in-law, Jack and Dianne Chapman. He is survived by: his significant other Kerry; his children, Chance (Amanda), Chanese (Rae), Ashley (Tyler) and Lindsay (Chris); his grandchildren, Khloe, Layne, Colby, Ryatt and Finnley; his father Gordon; his brother Jim (Tracey); and his brothers-in-law, Roger and Ken (Sherry). He is also survived by numerous other family members and very dear friends.
