It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Brian McFarlane (Edmonton, Alberta), who passed away on January 6, 2026, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though David has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack McFarlane and Barbara McFarlane; and his brothers, George and John. He is survived by: his wife Margaret; his children, Patti and Stuart (Terry); and his grandsons, Jack and Ethan. He is also survived by many friends, extended family, and Cooper, his dog.
