It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Eric Rostrup (Edmonton, Alberta), who passed away on April 8, 2026, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Olav Rostrup and Alberta Rostrup; his in-laws, Sam and Alice Soldan; and his brother-in-law Dr. Don Carr.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Anne; his children, Tim (Colleen), Shannon (Casey) and Brett (Erin); his grandchildren, Gunnar, Mabel, Davis, Ivy and Camilla; his sisters, Carol and Betty Anne (Don); and his siblings-in-law, Gail (Herm), Linda (Brian) and Bill (Pat). He is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
