It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Denis Mahoney (Edmonton, Alberta), who passed away on March 2, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his son Terence; his parents, William and Winnifred; his sisters, Kathleen Bell and Wilma Stevenson; and his wife Helen Reid.

He is survived by: his daughters, Sapphire Lightheart (Gabriel), Sharon Batchelor (Bill) and Heather Mahoney-Slaughter (Tim); his grandchildren, Shannon Gaudet (Bob), Kelly Batchelor (Javi), Nikki and Jon Slaughter; his great grandchild Charlie Gaudet; his sister Clodagh Wilson; his brother-in-law Kelly Reid; and his daughter-in-law Barbara Bishop. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Due to COVID restrictions, a celebration for both Denis and Helen will be announced later.
