It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Diana Bottos (Edmonton, Alberta), who passed away, on May 5, 2021. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Claudio; her daughter Louise Nelson; her parents, Pietro Galasso and Antonia Galasso; and her siblings, Theresa, Emma, Clelia, Ardemia, Mario, Diego and Vasco.

She is survived by: her children, Gabriella Chaput (Howard) and Dino Bottos (Jacqueline); her son-in-law Ken Nelson; her siblings, Gino Galasso (Julie) of Edmonton, Pina, Mariucca of Italy, Pia of Switzerland and Alfea of France; her sisters-in-law, Clarice of Edmonton and Vanda of Italy; and her grandchildren, Paul, Laura, Cody, Nicholas, Mia, Ben and Eva. She is also survived by six great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Due to Covid restrictions a small funeral will take place on June 8, 2021, those wishing to view the service may do so by selecting webcasting from the menu on this page.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in the name of Diana Bottos to the Canadian Cancer Society, or another charity of your choice.
