He was predeceased by: his parents, Angela Kootenay and Peter Richini; Sammy Burnstick and Sarah Burnstick. He is survived by: his sons, Cody, Bryan, Clyde and William; his grandchildren, Carter, Kellan, Micheal, Alesia, Roman and Taisley; his siblings, Thelma, Elly, Maria, Steve, Ricky, Sandra, Tina and Miranda; his uncles, Leslie, August and Nick; and his nephew Aaron.

A burial was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM and at 3:00 PM at the Alexander First Nation Cemetery. A funeral service was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Community Hall.
