He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Des Chenes and Marguerite Des Chenes; his siblings, Aline Des Chenes and Roger Des Chenes; and his children, Eugene Des Chenes and Marina Des Chenes.
He is survived by: his wife Gladys Des Chenes; his daughters, Dawn, Michelle, Angela Moss (Dave), Renee Torres (Juan) and Brigitte Huddlestun (Duane); and his brother Rene Des Chenes (Jenine). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
