It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Kafa Wakaruk (Edmonton, Alberta), who passed away on August 28, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephan and Dora; and his siblings, Marshall, Steve, Nick and Elsie.

He is survived by: his wife Cecilia; his daughter Crystal (Sue Murphy); and his siblings, William Wakaruk (Diane), Peter Wakaruk (Lorraine), Orest Wakaruk (Yolanda), Donna Komarniski, Stephanie Refshauge, Audrey Kopp, Anna Saskiw (Harvey) and Natalka Wakaruk. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Donald may be made to the charity of one's choice.
