He was predeceased by: his wife Helen; his parents, Joseph Forest and Polmina Forest; his siblings, Grace, Edward, Joseph, Raymond and Blanche; and his granddaughter Mikayla.

He is survived by: his children, Liz, Virginia (Norman), Jon (Shannon), Veronica (Henry), Dan (Angie), Mike (Kathie), Kathy (Doug), Tim (Joelle) and Jeremy; his grandchildren, Jordan (Krista), Sam, Daniel (Noëlle), Alana, Jesse, David, Caroline, Jacqueline, Mariah, Alexandra, Hannah, Rachel and James; his great grandchildren, Abigail, Alexander, Alice and Lennox; and his siblings, Robert and Annette.
