He was predeceased by: his parents, John Eric and Helen Lena Moffatt; his brother John William Moffatt; and his grandparents, John Milton, Alberta Ina Moffatt (Smith), George and Sanchira Paskal (Yazlovasky).
He is survived by: his friend Rhonda Kremko; his sisters, Patricia Kirkland (Harry) and Karen Macdonald (Peter Jenkins); and his nieces and nephews, Matthew Kirkland (Jenna Van Kempeima), Claire Kirkland (Fred Guay), Shannon Macdonald (Dave Cavanagh), Dr. Barry Macdonald (Olov Kaarlson), Renee Guay Dominic Vitt, Hank and Sam Cavanagh. He is also survived by many cousins and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 11:30 AM and on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 12:30 PM. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Mountain View Cemetery (1210 Scenic Dr S, Lethbridge, AB T1J4R7).
