She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Helen Letendre and Adam Letendre; her husband Phillip P. Cardinal; her children, Jennifer, Reg (Rebecca), Tina and Timothy (Candace); her grandchildren, Colton, Jenna, Eska, Julia, Nakota, Josiah, Nitanis, Iktome, Payton, Cipenuk and Eliza; and her great grandchildren, Ava, Tyreese, Kylee and Piper. She was also cherished by siblings and countless nieces & nephews.

A wake was held on Sunday, April 4th 2021 at 5:00 PM at the Alexis Nakota School. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 6th 2021 at 12:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Alexis Nakota Sioux School. *Please note: Safety measures to prevent covid19 will be honoured, please bring a mask and if you don't have one, there will be some provided at the door.
