Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Dorothy leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her daughter Deanna Haugen. She is survived by: her husband Herb; her daughter Darlene McDonald (Ross); her stepchildren, Debbie Chapman and Herb Jr. Fuernkranz; and her siblings, Margaret Buss, Mary Jowett and Bill Buss (Jane). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Connelly-McKinley Edmonton South (4820 Meridian St NW, Edmonton, AB T6P1R3).
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society (https://cancer.ca) in her honor.
