He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Gust and Olga Gust. He is survived by: his wife Linda Goulet; his children, Shandhi Gust and Jason Gust; his stepchildren, Nicole (Mike) and Derek (Amy); his grandchildren, Breanna (Brandon), Delaney (Ryley) and Colby (Carah); his stepgrandchildren, Kaius and Aria; and his sister Elaine (Albert). He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, extended family, and many friends.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Evergreen Funeral Home (16204 Fort Rd NW, Edmonton, AB T5Y 6A2). A burial will be held on Tuesday, May 6th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Beechmount Cemetery (12420 104 St NW, Edmonton, AB T5G2M1).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Doug's name may be made to the Stollery Children's Hospital or to SCARS.
