He was predeceased by: his parents, Eckart Kastendieck and Elisabeth Kastendieck; and his brothers, Werner and Herman Kastendieck. He is survived by: his wife Uta; his children, Werner Kastendieck (Colleen), Heide Neis (Daryl), Karen Hills (Allan), Kenneth Kastendieck (Jennifer) and Gerald Kastendieck (Karen); and his siblings, Betty Richardson (Robert), Irma Krug, Irene Krowchuk (John) and Fred Kastendieck. He is also survived by his 27 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren.
