He is survived by: his children, Tamara Saufert (Kim Kelly), Shane Richter (Kim) and Jesse Strid; his siblings, Pauline Odegard, Shirley Ellis, Frieden Bjur, Marion Whitney and Sherry Bouvette (Dee Hodgkinson); his children, Wanda Vanner, Gus and Lydia Elgert; his sisters, Alvina Richter and Geraldine Ross; his daughter Dawn Richter; and his grandson Jake Saufert. He is also survived by two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
