He was predeceased by: his wife Aurelia "Rae"; his parents, James (Jean Melnyk) and Joseph; his brother-in-law Joseph; his sister Malowney; and his brother-in-law Stuart McLennan (Malowney).
He is survived by: his sons, Murray (Lisa) and Scott (Diana); his grandchildren, Austin, Tanner, Amara and Noah; and his siblings, Darlene and Allen (Maxine). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
