He was predeceased by: his wife Louise Turley (Champagne); his parents, Stanley Turley and Lillian Turley; his siblings, Art, Vivienne, Mabel and Pearl; and his brother-in-law Roger Champagne.

He is survived by: his children, Karen Rutt (Gerry), Brian Turley (Julie), Donna Sylvestre (Ron), Janice Douville and Lisa Frost (Gord); his grandchildren, Colin Rutt (Natalya), Corey Rutt (Lauren), Craig Rutt (Briana), Jaydee Saunders (Alex), Amanda Krywko (Geoff), Amy Sylvestre, Danielle Phung (Clem) and Dayna Douville; his great grandchildren, Bennett, Sophie, Norah, Hudson, Harlow and Oliver; and his sister-in-law Lorette Champagne.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
