Elaine Marie Miko Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Elaine Marie Miko (Edmonton, Alberta), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 24, 2025 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid adieu to Elaine Marie's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Elaine Marie has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.

She is survived by: her husband Paul; her children, Neil Miko (Jocelyn), Jeffery Miko (Leslie) and Laura Ohlmann (Casey); her brothers, Dennis Olsen (Karen) and Edwin Olsen (Pat); and her granddaughters, Madison, Mallory Ohlmann and Emmy Miko.

In lieu of flowers, Elaine requested that donations in her memory be made to the: University Hospital Foundation – Kidney Care Program.
