She was predeceased by: her great-grandparent Baba; her parents, William Zuk and Stephanie Zuk; her daughter Teresa Sawchuk; and her nephew Tommy Korbyl.
She is survived by: her husband William Sawchuk; her daughters, Debbie Dymianiw (Jim), Barbara Sawchuk (Robert Sulatycky) and Judy-Lynn Sawchuk (Stephen Paskevich); her grandchildren, Dayna Nevay (Cam), Deanna Swain (Sam), Katia Hnidan (Mitch), Elena Paskevich and Michael Paskevich; her great grandchildren, Riley, Norah Nevay, Penelope, Miles Swain, Ella and Chloe Hnidan; and her sister Victoria Korbyl (Edward).
A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 5th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Basil's Ukrainian Catholic Church (7007 109 St NW, Edmonton, AB T6H3B9).
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or St. Basil's Renovation Fund in memory of Elizabeth.
