She was predeceased by: her husband Edward; her parents, John Karenko and Tillie Karenko (Zakotuk); her granddaughter Eleni; and her sister Johanna.

She is survived by: her children, Anna-Marie and John (Grace); her grandchildren, Alexander, Janisa, Michael and Lukina of Singapore; her child Thomas (Karen); her grandchildren, Teagan, Avery and Julian of Reno, Nevada.; and her siblings, Lloyd (Lilian), John (Susan), George (Betty), Marlene, Vicky and Margaret (Conrad).
